Bacterial Answers

1. Antiseptics are substances that are commonly applied to skin, whereas disinfectents kill bacteria on nonliving substances and can harm organisms.
2.A standardization can be made on the effect of an antibiotic based on the zone of inhibition.
3.Colonies growing on the zone of inhibition may be fungus.
4. An antibiotic with a large ZI may not be used because it is too powerful.

Bacteria Counting lab

Due to inconsistancies in our laboratory matierials, the counting of bacteria was somewhat unsuccessful, yet a rich new learning experience. I love the word Spectrophotometer. Some mistakes were made in the unaseptic conditions. Luckily no E. Coli outbreak was caused.
